One of our favorite cool season veggies to grow is the sugar snap pea. These sweet peas have a stringless, edible pod that we just can’t get enough of! While sugar snap peas are delicious in salads and stir fries, these little veggies are so tasty that they usually don’t make it into the kitchen! The vines produce large amounts of peas, and will do best with a trellis or stake to climb. This is a great plant to grow in a children’s garden.
